Simon Daveys Fundraiser Belfast Marathon

My Story
Hi everyone, firstly I want to thank everyone for taken the time to read this.
On May 3rd I'll be taken part in Belfast City Marathon. Alot of people know me from my running, so this year I'll be doing some fundraising for a good cause.
The charity I have chosen is CTRT (cancer treatment and research trust) this charity helps with treating patients suffering from Gestational Trophoblastic Disease.
This will be for my beautiful wife Erin who was sadly diagnosed with this disease July 2024 and has been closely monitored by doctors from charing cross hospital in London. After giving birth to our two beautiful girls, Ebony and Rhea. Our family is now complete. Later this year Erin will be going through an operation by getting a hysterectomy so that this disease can no longer spread or turn cancerous. I can't imagine how this must feel for Erin or any woman in that matter.
So my way of showing support is that I will run 26.2mile of Belfast marathon in hope to raise funds that will support and help research in immunotherapy treatment towards this type of cancer and for the continued support from CTRT charity.
Thank you again for taking the time to read this. I know sometimes people find it hard to donate so if I could even ask to give this page a share, it would be as great a help as donating.
Thanks Simon Davey
